Two pupils from our school entered the JK British orienteering championships in Sheffield over the Easter Holidays.
Daithí from 1st class won two out of his three events in the M10, which placed him third overall in the competition becoming the first podium finish ever from an Irish competitor in the under 10 category! What an incredible achievement!
Corin from 6th class also competed in the championships, topping the Irish boys M14, and placing 11th overall in the competition, the highest recorded finishing position of an Irish under 14 ever!
An amazing achievement by both boys!
