We at St. Luke's are today very proud of two of our fantastic swimmers!!
Alexandra and Alice proudly represented St Luke’s, Montenotte at the Munster Minor Schools Swimming Competition held yesterday in the UL Sports Arena.
Alexandra achieved excellent results, placing 2nd out of 89 competitors in the 50m freestyle and 4th out of 62 competitors in the 50m backstroke. Alice also competed very strongly, placing 5th out of 22 competitors in the butterfly and 22nd out of 42 competitors in the 100m Individual Medley.
As a result of their performances, both Alexandra and Alice have qualified for the 2026 Irish Minor Schools Championships, which will be hosted in the National Aquatic Centre, Sport Ireland Campus on 29th March.
Both students represented the school with great commitment and pride!
