This month 3rd & 4th class explored a theme many already have a keen interest in: Animation.
We looked at the history of early animation, from phenakistoscopes and thaumatropes to stop motion and hand drawn flip books. We investigated sound and explored creating our own sounds or music to add to animations. 3rd and 4th got so creative in designing & making their own animations!
Maths activities this month were based on the topics of Weight, Capacity, Probability and Chance.
Lovely responses from our French penpals arrived last week.
In PE we practised our basketball skills (thanks to some new PE equipment!), and finished off the month with a visit to one of our local pitches for some soccer games and race practice.
